Riz au Lait

Riz au lait

(French version of rice pudding)
  • 4 ltr milk
  • 1c arborio rice
  • 1c sugar
  • Pinch of salt.
  • Vanilla 1tb. (or Darchini/Elachi)
  • Bring to boil
  • Simmer for 1 hour
  • Add 1 egg yolk & mix
0ven 150c/30min (uncovered)

Let cool
Sugar Crust: Sprinkle sugar on top. Melt sugar with a blow torch, if you have, or place under a grill.
